Scorpion Platform

2006 Exelon implemented the use of the Scorpion Inspection platform for inspection activities on the Rx Vessel during refueling activities. A portion of this platform is submerged, an area called the trough. Exelon took the ALARA initiative to shield the floor of the trough area reducing their Rx Vessel inspection radiation exposure by at least 50%.
